CR Municipal Band Concert Sunday at Noelridge!

After a rain-out on Wednesday, you do not want to miss our only concert this week Sunday at Noelridge!  The CRMB is made up of many of Cedar Rapids’ finest musicians and this week we feature three of our own.  You will hear from Joel Nagel on trombone, Laura Saylor on flugelhorn, and Thiago Ancelmo on clarinet.  Feel free to bring pets, children, and picnics and join us at Noelridge Park this Sunday at 7:30!

We are back at Bever Park this Sunday!  Our guest artists this week include Young Artist Competition runner-up Sam Kelly on clarinet, recent UNI grad Brent Mead on trombone, and long-time Maquoketa band director guest conducting a favorite Karl King march.  Bring a lawn chair and a picnic and join us at Bever Park at 7:30!

Celebrate America Sunday at the McGrath Amphitheater!

Our only concert this week is this Sunday at the McGrath Amphitheater! We celebrate America this week with a special children’s march and guest artists The Marshalls Vocal Trio singing some of your favorite Gershwin and patriotic melodies. We also honor our veterans with a salute to our armed forces. This is a week not to miss! Pack a picnic, your kids, and your favorite veteran and join us at scenic amphitheater  this Sunday at 7:30!

Municipal Band Concert/ Make Music Day Wednesday at Cleveland Elementary!

Wednesday is not only a Cedar Rapids Municipal Band Concert at Cleveland Elementary School, but also Make Music Day in the Corridor! Join us at 7:30 for another fantastic hour of music from the municipal band featuring guest piccolo artist Nicole Esposito and a tribute to the Incredibles for kids of all ages! For the last piece of the concert, bring your instrument and join the band for Sousapalooza in a performance of his march, “Homeward Bound!”
