On Saturday June 6th 1:30pm-5pm at Kirkwood, they’ll hold a series of masterclasses and clinics. There will also be an exhibit area which will include some instruments for the kids to try out. The camp fee ($50) includes a free ticket to the Orchestra Iowa concert that Saturday night. (Program is Flying Dutchman, Debussy Nocturnes, Fountains of Rome, and La Mer.) Then on Sunday, they’ll having a group warm-up session and mass ensemble rehearsal from 9am to 11:30am in the Opus Concert Café. After that, it’s off to the NewBo City Market for lunch and a public performance on the outdoor stage at 1pm. It should be a great weekend!
